Who are we at First Presbyterian Church in Salina, Kansas?
We are a community of Christians who rely on God and embrace the challenge and adventure of following Jesus Christ.
Our Scottish Presbyterian founders ventured in 1860 out into the Central Kansas Plains from Lawrence, 150 miles east, in a buggy. That buggy is an apt image for the church even in the 21st century.
The spirit of that “pioneering past” has given us “courage and conviction.” We are sharing a journey rooted in faith, and choosing to live in hope.
There are plenty of ways to engage in the life of the church. If you’re intrigued and wish to join us on our journey, hop in, roll up your sleeves and come aboard for a Great Adventure!
