our responsibilities

  • annual meeting

    Organize the January breakfast for the congregation which is followed by the regular worship service and annual meeting.

  • bee the church

    This is a workday in lieu of the worship service. CCN works with the Deacons to organize projects for members who work on a variety of church related areas.

  • circles of the heartland

    Prepare and serve dinner once a year in support of Circles of the Heartland meeting.

  • drinks & appetizers for 8

    Usually arranged in May, June and July, church members sign up for these small social get togethers to become better acquainted with one another.

  • ice cream social

    An always popular event coordinated by CCN. Served outside in June and includes fun and games and lots of ice cream.

  • midweek manna

    During the school year a Wednesday evening gathering is offered downstairs in Blair Hall. This is an all-church contemporary worship service that offers Communion, music and a meal prior to the worship service. We encourage our congregation, as well as the church neighborhood, to join us. CCN is responsible for arranging caterers for the meal.

  • ministry fair

    Held in September. Immediately following the worship service, members come to Blair Hall to sign up for various committees/activities
