Youth
Our youth ministry consists of two groups that are determined by grade-school classification. The goal and purpose of youth ministry is to develop relationship between both our congregation’s young people and adults other than their parents. Numerous studies have shown that youth who are both mentally healthy and resilient are those who have several adults whom they can turn to throughout their growing years.
God Squad
Our younger youth group, God Squad, is made up of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. This group meets twice a month during the school year, once at an area restaurant for an evening meal and conversation and a second time at church in the youth room for a meal and activities. The group is led by Trey & Makenzi Cullins and Pastor Phil Price
HeBrews
Our older youth group, HeBrews, is made up of ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth graders. This group meets weekly, during the school year at Mokas on Crawford, from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for breakfast, conversation, sharing Highs & Lows, and prayer before heading off to school. This group is led by Makenzi Cullins and Pastor Phil Price.
Seasonal Youth Activities
We also gather youth of all ages for seasonal events throughout the year.
